I love this place! It's like a bigger radio shack. Don't come looking for a better price for anything though. It's a place to go if you need that one electrical component and can't wait to have it shipped from some online store. It's definitely a hobbyists playground when it comes to gadgets.
The only thing that I like about this place is that the prices are more reasonable as compared to other places. The staff are usually just standing around and talking..never saw them ask customers if they need help. I had to approach a group of staff and ask them to help me. One of them agreed to help with a bit of an attitude. Im definitely going to avoid buying anything from this store again. They need better management.
I love gets and third promo deals. The store is well laid out and always clean. Sometime it seems the sales people don't know much about the promotions, but they do send out so many it is probably hard to keep up with. I love the order online and pick up in store!
In fact so much stuff to look at i get overwhelmed. It would be good idea to visit their website first to build A check list before going there in person as you can get easily distracted or overwhelmed with all of the options and selections. Pricing is pretty good. The big advantage to shopping there is that you can get it all locally and in one visit, even if some things cost a little more than of shopping at an online competitor.
Gotta love Fry's! This particular store is bright, clean, and upscale. Probably because of this they usually run out of advertised specials fast!
