If you're looking for a cult, to serve the pastor and his family, and to deny yourself and family of free time, opinions and peace then this is the place for you. If you're looking for a kid friendly, family friendly, safe, inviting place you can call your home church and be treated and respected like family then this is not it! My family attended this church. For one thing the children are not taught properly with adult supervision. It's more like a daycare while the parents go to Sunday school or big church which half of his sermon is quoted from jokes he found online. For some reason there is no money in the children's fund, no snacks or craft supplies for the children but the pastor's wife buys expensive diet supplements, their kids were in private school and they remodel their house. Also the pastor will fire other staff members to insure his pay instead of taking a pay cut. The pastor and his wife, Joshua and Stephanie Price, find no fault in themselves or their children but in the members of their church. I've reached out to other members for help and have been ignored. I would not suggest this church to anybody! My family endured enough emotional stress from them that I had to block their number and my 3 year old son developed a stutter while we were there. Now that we are not attending this church my son is much better, our family is happier and we are emotionally relieved.
This is a wonderful Baptist Family Church. casual dress - awesome music relevant teaching - kid friendly - joyous noise sung to heaven. Many Church Body Ministries for the homeless; Seniors; Community Gardening; Prayer Warriors; and more. The membership are warm and inclusive (huggers.) Sunday Services 10:15 to noon. Hispanic Services later in the afternoon, too.
