Wonderful place to worship! Giving him praise. .

I love Calvary it up lifts me, I can feel the love & presence of God. They greet you with a Smile. Pastor Been & pastor George are great & Always delivers a great message. Sometimes those messages are for ME. Great Church.

If you want a show and entertainment, this is the place for you.

I took my family here for a Sunday service and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The people are very friendly and the facility is amazing, but the teaching was one of those things where spiritually it just did not feel right. Throughout the entire message, only 2 verses were read, hardly anyone brought bibles, they weren't needed since they display them on a large screen, worship is a huge concert with lights, fog machines, and performances, more time was spent asking for money than teaching the Word, and the teaching felt very empty of spiritual value.

Perhaps it's because I was raised in a small church, but when going to church I value fellowship and teaching of the Word above all. My idea of a good church is one that focuses the large majority of it's service time to teaching the Word of God so that the Christian will be well equipped to handle the struggles of this world and also develop a far deeper relationship with God. This is not the church for that.

If you could write a slogan for this church it would be: "Poverty pimping a prosperity gospel". Unless you're a major donor to the ever increasing staff salaries, book/cd sales, pay to pray discipleship programs, don't think for two seconds they genuinely care about your well being (spiritual or physical). This is a place where the discipleship of congregation takes a back to seat to the ego of face of church. When you do need counseling or have a major life event, be prepared to have no one show up even after being called "a son/ daughter of the church", or you can be placed on hold for a convenient offering prompted by the flow of the Holy Spirit and then transferred to the next available youth pastor or financial executive (saw that first hand as an intern). Don't stay long though, associate pastors will do there best to use you as a political pawn and gain a following by a group of people in the church which only serves to further their careers because they've been taught that being infatuated with the Lead Pastor's approval is more important than creating actual disciples of Christ (here's looking at you "Pastor" Steve Flores). That said they do have a decent coffee bar.....

If you want the word of God this is not the church for you.

I have been going to this church for a month and it is so good. They accept you as you are and give the good word with such passion that I wouldn't want to go to any other church. All I can say is it is an amazing church and the worship experience is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and the pastors are AWESOME.
