My fiance and I went to Lowes in Keller and they did not have the tree we wanted so they looked it up and said they have only one left at Irving and some other stores. So, we called the Irving store and they said they had the 9ft tree we wanted and they will hold it. We get there and the tree they said was the 9ft tree had the wring tag on the tree and you can tell it wasn't the right tree because it was the same height as the other 7.5 tree standing right next to it and it didnt even match the picture. We got the manager Chuck who said they cant sell the right tree we wanted so we were SOL! No customer service, rude, no way to fix their mistake!
Looking up items on the app is so much easier as it usually shows you the aisle and bay the item is in.
However, make sure you have the Lowe's app on your phone. It's the only way you'll get help finding anything. If you do need an addict you can usually find a large gaggle of red smocks usually standing around chatting.
Clean store with a really large inventory. That's really what brings me back.
If you're buying flooring or anything that requires associates figuring up price or writing up figures/charges always double check. I paid $35 for them to come measure for carpet. The $35 was supposed to be credited toward price of carpet & padding. This is how simple it should have been cost of carpet ＋padding - $35 credit I already paid. Simple right? Their system however came up cost of carpet + $35 + padding with less $35. This would be fine but why did they add $35 back in. Their associates and manager Candice could not grasp that even if you give me the credit of $35 off the padding, if you add $35 back in it's not a credit given. I'm not making this up. I was there about 2 & 1/2 hours trying to explain and show them on paper. They could not grasp it. SCARY! This is the result of lack of discipline and education. Can't blame the teachers when kids just don't want to learn. All 3 of the associates including the manager all looked to be in their 20's. I'm 52 and I was stunned how they did not grasp simple math. They kept referring me to the system and how the system prints this out and it is what it shows. I couldn't get them to add it up themselves.
I went in last night very close to closing time- the night before Thanksgiving & although all the employees were running around trying to get the store set up for Black Friday and go home for the night Justin provided excellent service. He didn’t once complain about helping us and did everything he could to make sure we were able to get the tree we wanted.
It is my hope solutions will be found to make customer visits more productive and fun while increasing sales at this location.
I was solo in my search for at least ten minutes, before my friend took the time to find an associate. The associate knew little to nothing, other than they could not sell a single from an already broken pack (3 of 20 remained) because the item number was not on the single. No assistance was given to find something I could buy to complete my project. I went to the paint aisles, which at least two were closed due to lifts, empty of associates, were there. Their inventory was minimal and their prices higher than Home Depot and Wal-Mart. A few cents is not a deterrent, but non existent customer service is. As I was leaving, I placed the package of three acorn nuts on the cashier's counter, nicely said I was leaving them with her. I made contact, she did not even acknowledge my existence. Never will I step inside that store again and always will I tell peers not to bother making the stop. I was planning on purchasing about $200 worth of materials this week, but my spending will happen elsewhere.
I first went in to see a manager and associate just talking. I interrupted them to ask where to find a particular product. They pointed to 3/4 way down store and said it was in "hardware." After searching several aisles, I finally found what I believed would hold my treasure, a single acorn nut.
