If I were to hand pick a dentist I would pick one that is experienced, has a great reputation, is highly skilled, is smart and considers each and every patient individually. If I were to hand pick a world class dentist I would add to that list someone who is caring, sincere, supportive, compassionate, gentle and humble. Dr. Sam Koo is a world class dentist.
Most recently I need some root canals and implants. Although Dr. Koo can do those procedures he referred to me his trusted network of experts. I must say his network of professional experts is also world class, making my experiences, because of Dr. Koo, very enjoyable. Dr. Koo has impressed me by his ability to form a team of specialists who all work extremely well together and leave me, the patient, feeling like I am the only patient in the world.

If you are looking for a dentist, search no more. Dr. Koo is unmatched in his profession. I stand by his work, I trust him and his entire staff with my dental care, so much so, I will never have to look for another dentist again. I am infinitely thankful for his dedication and endless pursuit to provide world class gold standard quality dental care to his patient. If Dr. Koo were the only dentist in the world, the world would be a better place and full of beautiful smiles.
Tries to up sell at EVERY turn. Went once for a teeth cleaning, they did x-rays instead and told me to reschedule time for a deep cleaning and the first filling (x2) I've ever needed. Returned, got the fillings and was told to return in three months for another cleaning. Returned after three months and was told I needed to see a periodontist, purchase a night guard, and that there were some more cavities coming soon... again, this was three months after having visited them TWICE. I will not return.
While getting deep cleaning, on one tooth i felt a little more pain than usually so I startled and touched the hygienists hand. Dr. said 'you are putting her life in danger' !! really? What about me (the patient) may get hurt. Fine but I didn't want more anesthesia, he gave it anyway since I was putting the hygienists life in danger. Then when he was giving me the extra anesthesia I made a slight pain sound and Dr. koo goes: "don't make a sound, you will scare other patients". Really? Do you care about the patient that is in your chair right now at all?
Consideration for patient is zero. Gave me too much anesthesia (more than necessary) - I know this because I have lots of dentists in my family.
Had a really bad overall consideration and is a very cocky Dr. I will never go to him again.
Dr. Koo is caring and gentle. He staff are awesome. I will never go to other dentist.
